Privacy
Short version: we collect what you type into the waitlist form so we can answer your questions and, if the course opens, write to you about it. We don't sell, rent or trade it, and we don't use it for advertising.

2. What we collect
What you give us
When you join the waitlist or write to us, we collect what you provide: your name, your email address, what you do now, the topics you pick, anything else you type in the form, and anything you put in an email.
Technical and log information
When your browser loads a page, standard server logs record your IP address, browser, the page requested, the response code and the time. We keep them only for reliability, performance monitoring and security.
Pages do not load anything from other companies: typefaces and scripts come from this site. The only outside request is the waitlist form, which sends to Google Firebase when you submit it.
The practice exam runs in your browser: your answers and score are not sent to us. If you use the button that adds the units you missed to the waitlist form, those topics are sent with your waitlist entry when you submit it.
3. How we use it
We use what we collect to:
- Keep the waitlist, answer your questions and, if the course opens, write to you about it.
- Protect the site against spam, abuse and automated attacks.
- Meet our obligations under state and federal law.
4. We don't sell personal information
We don't sell, rent or trade personal information to data brokers, ad networks or lead sellers.
5. Service providers
Google Cloud Platform and Firebase host the site and store waitlist sign-ups. Those providers process the data to run the site.
A sign-up may also be emailed to us, or copied into our own contact records, so that someone at Our Landmen LLC can read it and answer. Email and other business tools we use to do that can hold a copy too. Those copies are used for the same purposes as the sign-up itself.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- See: tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct: fix anything that's wrong.
- Remove: ask us to remove your waitlist entry.
To use any of these rights, email hello@landman.training with "Privacy request" in the subject line. There is no charge to ask.
7. Retention and security
Data travels over TLS (HTTPS), and Google encrypts stored data. We have not set a fixed retention period for waitlist sign-ups. Copies of a sign-up may sit in email or our contact records as well as the waitlist.
